Redistricting Students (Ronald McNair Elementary)

A memo from Jesse Wharton Elementary School Principal Angella Hauser

The new Ronald McNair Elementary School  will open at the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.  Several students from Jesse Wharton Elementary School will be redistricted to this new school.  Currently the school board is reviewing four districting options.  Three public forums have been established to seek feedback from parents and the public regarding proposed changes to student assignment boundaries for some schools.  The meetings will be held in each school’s auditorium from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

  • Monday, September 26, at Northeast High School
  • Monday, October 3, at Andrews High School
  • Thursday, October 13, at Page High School

Parents and members of the public may also provide input by emailing feedback@gcsnc.com.  If your schedule allows, I encourage you to attend one of the forums or email any feedback you would like to share with the Guilford County School Board.

Here is a link to review the four redistricting options.
